How long will it take?
Dependant on the service chosen a detail can take anything from 3 hours up to 12 hours. I pride myself on quality results and so i do not rush jobs or book several in a day. Many detailers state they can do a full detail in 1 hr 30 - 2 hours, but at Ash's Vehicle Valet and Detailing we fail to see how a vehicle can be fully deep cleaned to a quality level within this time period. At times just cleaning a boot can take an hour in itself. If you have any concerns or queries regarding time then i will do my best to facilitate your needs but please keep time in mind when booking a detail. 

Do you need access to water and electrics?
Yes. I will need a plug point and a hose point to be able to plug in my extension lead and hose. I currently have capability of 30 meters from your home address, alternative options will usually be discussed however if this is an issue. 

Do you have insurance?
Yes. I am fully insured. Documents are able to be provided as proof of this should this be necessary.

How long have you been detailing?
I most recently opened the detailing business in late December 2025, however prior to this i worked alongside a family member who worked within a body shop. I done this work entirely free at the time just to help out and i would work on my own cars, friends and family's vehicles. So although i opened the business in December i have several years experience in the trade. 

Do you do any deals or discounts?
Yes. I currently offer 5% blue light card and emergency services discount.
 I also provide a £10 discount on future bookings upon leaving a review.
If you refer a friend who then books in for a detail, your friend will receive £10 off of their detail and you will receive £10 cashback

Do you have any examples of previous work?
Yes i have social media pages on Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok. These are the places for which i post previous work. However if you did want specific examples then please feel free to message me.

Why are your services so expensive in comparison to a car wash service?
At Ash's Vehicle Valet and Detailing ltd i pride myself on delivering a quality service. Part of this quality service entails using quality products, new and refreshed equipment, regular new microfibres, brushes and mitts. This ensures that your vehicle gets treated like the best of the best regardless of whether it is just a little Kia RIO or a Bugatti.
Cheap car washes and bushes are the number one cause of paint work swirl marks and scratches. So yes your local car wash may well be cheaper or other detailers may well be cheaper, but the fact remains the same, less product/ equipment maintenance - more scratches on your paintwork. This will have a much larger financial burden on you in the long run. 

Do you charge VAT on top?
No. I am a non VAT registered business and so the price you are quoted is the price you pay. Invoices will be provided at request.

How can i pay?
You can pay either by Cash or bank transfer whichever suits your needs best.
